Generations of experience

Marc Dreesde, 52, lives in Amstelveen and worked in the catering sector until the age of 31. Here, he met a professional street vendor who took him under his wing and brought him to different markets. This led Marc to aspire to a career as an independent street vendor.

Before long, he began selling his very first product – the leather cream – at markets and trade shows.

Marc has a keen eye for innovative products and he soon began selling products that contain the snail slime extract “Helix aspersa muller.”

At an international trade show, Marc came into contact with the Belgian company Ellimac, which helped him launch a line of skin care products under the banner of the exclusive QSL brand.

Today, you can find the enthusiastic and good-humoured Marc at trade shows and markets everywhere – from the Huishoudbeurs and the 50+ Beurs to the Dappermarkt – selling a product range that has expanded significantly since those early days.

Several years ago, he also launched an online shop so people can easily place their order online if they are unable to visit Marc’s stand in person. Particularly during the coronavirus pandemic, the online sales paid off and allowed everyone to have their much-beloved products delivered straight to their doorstep.

Marc has three sons, one of whom has also caught the entrepreneurial bug. This means QSL’s future is safe in the hands of the next generation.
